MIRA Technology Park
This 36 Ha site needed an Environment Impact Assessment as part of the outline planning application. Engineering chapters in the EIA included:
- Flood risk assessment and drainage strategy
- Ground Conditions and Foundation Strategy
Peel Ports, Sheerness Car Import Facility
5 Ha import facility complete with a 24m access bridge, a footbridge for the coastal path over the access from the port and alterations to the coastal defences with the insertion of flood gates. Details of coastal defences, site drainage, contamination and ecology of voles required for detailed planning conditions.
Bedfont Trading Estate
As part of the S106 details for this 7 Ha trading estate, the following items had to be submitted:
- S278 road and junction improvements including toucan crossing and bus stops required in the development of the trading estate.
- Construction Traffic Management Plan
Croftdown Bowling Club Redevelopment
The 1 Ha bowling club is landlocked being surrounded by residential streets in North London. Its redevelopment needed a Construction Management Plan as to how the works were going to be organised and the construction traffic managed. Additionally a Basement Impact Assessment was required considering the Hydrology, Ground Stability and Surface Water Flooding.
Fry’s Chocolate Factory, Bristol
Pre-planning assessment of existing buildings on this 2.5 Ha factory site to establish viability of refurbishment of different buildings and safe access for asbestos removal. Demolition strategy also considered.
